Evil Dead Rise Film Premiere
For the launch of a highly anticipated horror film, Evil Dead Rise, Warner Bros. sought to generate buzz and excitement around the release by offering unique and engaging activities that resonated with horror movie enthusiasts.
The challenge was to develop experiences that not only fit the theme of the movie but also provided a memorable and shareable interaction for the guests.
The first-ever Scream Booth and a dynamic 9-Cam Bullet Time creates an immersive film premiere experience.
To meet this challenge, we developed two custom experiences: the first-ever Scream Booth and the popular 9-Cam Bullet Time.
Scream Booth: This booth invited guests to let out their loudest screams, which were then measured using a decibel meter. The screams were scored, adding a competitive and fun element to the experience. The booth was designed to be soundproof, ensuring that the screams didn’t disturb the event while still providing a thrilling, heart-pounding activity for participants. The screams were captured as digital photos and printed polaroids; all branded with the film artwork – perfect for sharing on social media.

9-Cam Bullet Time: Utilising nine cameras positioned at strategic angles, this setup captured guests’ movements in a dramatic, 360-degree fashion. This allowed fans to step into the horror world of Evil Dead Rise and see their reactions from every angle. The resulting footage provided a cinematic and dynamic memento for the guests, perfect for sharing on social media platforms.
The activation was a resounding success, generating significant excitement and positive feedback from both the guests and the client. The interactive experiences not only engaged the attendees but also amplified the promotional efforts for the movie. Warner Bros.
