Hero Photo Booth – Step By Step

Step 1: Welcome Screen & Data Capture

The welcome screen of Hero Booth uses choreographed footage of your hero’s beckoning guests over to take part and have a selfie.

The user then submits their name and email address, along with any other data or insights that you would like to collect as part of your campaign.

Step 2: The Celebrity Photo Booth Selfie

Depending on your campaign, you can offer your guests a choice of hero for their selfie.

At the London Marathon, guests could choose from David Weir, Paula Radcliffe, or Mo Farah. For our WSL Hero Booth, participants could take selfies with various football stars.

The chosen hero then guides your guest through the selfie process, prompting them to pose for the camera and counting down to the shot. Afterward, the hero shows the user the photo to ensure they’re happy before proceeding to the next stage.

Step 3: Printing & Social Sharing

Hero Booth adds a branded overlay to the picture before sending the final selfie to your guest’s inbox.

If you’d like to offer a printed version, then our team can print the selfie out to high-quality photo paper or even transfer the image to a tote bag or t-shirt. If you want to supercharge your event’s social footprint, combine Hero Booth with our ShareStation+ platform. This will allow your guests to share directly on social media from their phones by scanning a simple QR code.

How we digitise the heroes

Green Screen Video

The process of digitising heroes for our Hero Booth begins with a green screen video shoot.

Our team captures carefully choreographed gestures and movements, integrating them into a branded user experience. This creates a seamless selfie sequence where the celebrity grabs people’s attention, invites them to participate, and guides them step-by-step through capturing and sharing their celebrity selfie.
