International Confex 2025
International Confex is one of the world’s leading events for the global events industry, held annually at ExCeL London. It brings together event professionals from across the globe, offering a platform to explore emerging trends, exchange insights, and build valuable connections.
This year, we arrived at Confex armed with four brand new products: MerchLab AI, FRAIME, Cloud Wall and AI Photo Booth On Your Phone.
For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a quick rundown of what we showcased:
The New Wave of Noonah’s AI Powered Event Technology @ Confex 2025
MerchLab AI
MerchLab AI is our brand new AI powered technology designed to elevate live event printing experiences.
At Confex, guests used MerchLab AI to easily create personalised merch, turning their creative ideas into reality with AI-powered text-to-image generation. The intuitive interface allowed endless tweaking, regeneration, and experimentation, making the creative process as enjoyable as the finished product.
A standout feature was MerchLab’s photo upload tool: guests scanned a QR code, uploaded their chosen image – whether pets, partners, or cheeky selfies – and instantly integrated it into their custom merch designs. This eliminated the need for physical photobooths, significantly enhancing scalability, which is particularly beneficial for large-scale event organizers.
To demonstrate MerchLab AI’s versatility, we provided two popular merch options:
Custom Badges: Guests crafted unique icons with the AI text-to-image function, selected background colours, and personalised them with their names. The result? Simple, effective, and proudly worn badges.
AI Postcards: Guests envisioned their dream holiday destinations using AI-generated imagery, then inserted personal photos to complete their scenes – though some did opt for more apocalyptic themes!
Over two days, our three MerchLab AI stations produced hundreds of custom designs, demonstrating the technology’s engaging impact.

FRAIME
Guests were invited to sketch something on the left side of the screen, while the right side displayed an AI-enhanced version of whatever they drew, creating incredible masterpieces in real-time.
Unlike MerchLab AI, FRAIME encouraged longer engagement sessions. Although quick one-minute designs were possible, FRAIME’s extensive AI capabilities inspired guests to take their time crafting detailed, creative masterpieces.
This meant FRAIME generated slightly fewer data entries overall, but each participant left thoroughly impressed and with a lasting memory, as every creation was printed onto high-quality posters.

AI Photo Booth On Your Phone
Our AI Photo Booth experience is now available directly on your phone!
This innovation eliminates the need for physical booths, significantly increasing scalability and allowing you to offer engaging AI Photo Booth experiences to guests anywhere in the world.
At Confex, we seamlessly linked AI Photo Booth to our printing station, allowing guests to create custom notebooks featuring themselves transformed into AI avatars. Choices included zombies, elves, racing drivers, cartoons, fantasy characters, and superheroes. The ability to regenerate outputs into different characters added fun and laughter among friends and colleagues.
The AI Photo Booth proved extremely popular, printing over 250 custom notebooks per day, demonstrating the power of engaging, personalised merchandise at events.

Beyond AI: Classic Engagement Still Works
Prize Wall
Prize Wall was the biggest driver of traffic at Confex this year, proving that sometimes, you just can’t beat a good old prize giveaway!
We debuted a sleek, matte-black wrapped Prize Wall featuring underlit edges, creating an inviting, futuristic vibe that perfectly matched the Confex atmosphere. Its eye-catching design is now undoubtedly a mainstay.
Confex attendees wandered the Excel Center in disarray, wondering where the sounds of cheering and victory music were coming from. When they found the source, they couldn’t resist having a go!
Beyond providing entertainment, the Prize Wall efficiently captured valuable audience data. By simply scanning a QR code for a chance to win, attendees quickly participated, enabling Prize Wall to handle large crowds effortlessly – making it the ideal event technology for engagement and data collection.

Cloud Wall
Tying everything together at the heart of our stand was Cloud Wall – our brand new live feed display software.
Cloud Wall integrated with all our event technology, effortlessly showcasing guests’ creations in real-time. The visually striking display not only drew attention but also clearly demonstrated the range and capabilities of our services. Attendees loved seeing their designs prominently featured on the big screen, adding an extra thrill and personal connection to their event experience.
