The Role

Noonah is seeking a Digital Technician to join our industry-leading Tech Team and play a key role in bringing our cutting-edge experiential technology to life at live events across the UK. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will oversee the setup and deployment of our innovative event technologies, expertly troubleshoot any issues, and ensure seamless operation of our high-tech equipment. You’ll work with an exciting array of technologies, from AI-powered Photo Booths to Glamdroid®, our robotic camera arm, and more. Your technical expertise will be essential to flawless event execution, ensuring every project delivers maximum impact and leaves a lasting impression on our clients and their audiences.

Duties

  • Support the Tech and Sales Teams in setting up both virtual and physical events, utilising Noonah’s in-house online platforms to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and operation of hardware and software required for physical events, ensuring all equipment functions flawlessly.
  • Collaborate with clients to build bespoke digital event experiences, customising our platforms to meet their specific needs and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server infrastructure.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics including Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other microcontrollers.
  • Experience working with content management systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS is preferred but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or other web development languages.
  • Proficiency with remote support software such as TeamViewer.
  • Hands-on experience with PC hardware, including troubleshooting and setup.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, permanent office based position, Monday – Friday
  • Work Locations: Primarily based between our office at S44 5HY and our warehouse and workshops at S44 6BB.
  • This role involves occasional travel to client sites and event locations across the UK and beyond.
  • Flexibility is essential, as you may need to work outside standard business hours to meet project deadlines and client demands.

Salary: 23-28k (dependent on experience).
