Following the success of our activation at the 2024 London Marathon Expo, we returned in 2025 with a new AI-powered photo experience designed to entertain runners and supporters at the event.

AI Photo Booth at TCS London Marathon 2025
For the 2025 event, Noonah deployed AI Photo Booth as part of the TCS London Marathon experience. Guests stepped up to the booth, took part in a simple branded journey, and received a custom AI-generated image showing them crossing the finish line in a celebratory caricature style.
The experience was designed to feel light, quick and rewarding. Visitors did not need to download anything or wait for manual processing. Once their image was ready, they could access it instantly by scanning a QR code on screen.
Because the output was personalised and directly tied to the event, the booth gave runners and supporters a strong reason to share their image on social media before the marathon. This helped extend the reach of the activation beyond the venue itself, while giving participants a piece of branded content they actually wanted to keep. The page also notes that the experience drew participation from influencers including Zoe Rae.
The Result
AI Photo Booth created a busy, high-energy engagement point within the event space. Guests queued throughout the weekend to generate and share their finish-line portraits, helping build visibility for the TCS London Marathon across social channels.
The result was a simple but effective sports event activation: an experience that was easy to take part in, relevant to the audience, and built around creating branded user-generated content at scale.
