Estimator (Live Events)
The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our team with project estimation, event coordination, and client management. You’ll help ensure our high-profile events are accurately costed while assisting with event management and coordination. This role involves a mix of behind-the-scenes planning and hands-on work at live events, perfect for those ready to pivot their career into a vibrant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Estimation: Use your expertise to produce detailed, accurate estimates for a variety of experiential tech projects, ensuring all costs are considered and aligned with client budgets.
- Client Interaction & Relationship Growth: Work with clients to understand their needs, present cost breakdowns, and provide expert advice on project feasibility and budget management. Proactively grow relationships with existing clients through email, telephone, and in-person meetings.
- Inbound Sales Management: Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email, converting leads into sales and overseeing the project lifecycle, from the initial estimate through to successful delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and production staff to fully understand project scopes, contributing to seamless coordination and accurate cost estimates.
Requirements:
- Experience in estimation, sales co-ordination or project management or related fields (experience in events or experiential tech is not required).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work with clients and teams to clearly present estimates and project details.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Confidence in applying transferable skills to a new industry, with a passion for learning and growing in a dynamic field.
- Proficiency in estimation tools and software, with a solid understanding of budgeting and cost-control practices.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage risks and deliver accurate cost estimates under pressure.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, Permanent. Monday – Friday.
- Based at Noonah HQ at the Markham Vale Environment Centre, Junction 29A of the M1, S44 5HY.
