Magic Radio’s BST Festival Experience

To support Magic Radio’s #MagicLovesSummer campaign, we brought our Hero Booth to the American Express presents BST Festival – helping turn a branded truck into a photo hotspot and boosting engagement across the weekend.
This immersive activation gave festival-goers the chance to ‘meet’ Magic Radio presenters Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott through our holographic photo booth – creating personalised selfies and social-ready content with the click of a button.
Redefining fan engagement and creating an unforgettable festival experience for Magic Radio.
The Brief
- Deliver an interactive experience for fans at BST Festival
- Promote Magic Radio’s summer campaign across digital and in-person channels
- Encourage user-generated content and drive social shares
- Ensure the setup could handle outdoor use and high footfall

Our Approach
We installed our Hero Booth within the bright yellow Magic Radio summer truck — set up alongside garden games and other activities. The Hero Booth used lifelike green screen compositing to let guests take selfies alongside virtual versions of Ronan and Harriet.
The flow was simple:
- Guests stepped up to the booth
- Chose their presenter
- Captured a high-quality photo that looked like a real-life meet-and-greet
- Entered their email to download and share instantly
The photo also doubled as an entry into a social media competition to win a smart speaker — providing a fun incentive to share.
