EE, Wembley: Selfie Stations
As restrictions around COVID-19 are lifting, EE wanted to create a fun experience when crowds start attending live events again at Wembley.
Traditionally sports fan’s experiences have revolved solely around the action on the field. However, in an effort the enhance the attendee experience in a new way, Mobile network EE, sponsor of Wembley stadium, set out to create an innovative off-field activation. They wanted an installation that would stand out and get people engaging with the brand in a fun and exciting way.

The ‘EE Selfie Stations’ will use contactless technology to send the photo souvenir directly to the email.
Noonah developed software in-house to create the Hero Booths that are installed at Wembley Stadium, giving fans the opportunity to have their pictures taken with England’s leading football stars, including The Lionesses, Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho, and Harry Maguire.
The ‘EE Selfie Stations’ will use contactless technology to send the photo souvenir directly to the email account of the fan. Operated through the user’s mobile phone, the booths use Noonah’s ‘COVID-safe’ contactless technology, which sends the photo souvenir directly to your inbox. The two photobooths are permanent installations in Wembley Stadium’s inner circle and mark an exciting milestone in the return to normality.
