For Christmas 2021, Monopoly teamed up with Noonah to offer families the opportunity to create personalised versions of the iconic game, exclusively at Selfridges’ London flagship store on Oxford Street.

Monopoly is the world’s most popular family board game, licensed in over 103 countries and printed in more than 37 languages. Now with custom family editions, thanks to ‘Monopoly by You’ x Noonah’s Live Event Printing.

In a UK first, Monopoly gave families the opportunity to create their own personalised edition of the iconic board game.

‘Monopoly By You’ was a hit with the press, even featuring on This Morning’s ‘Ultimate Christmas Gifts’ segment with Philip and Holly, which attracted an impressive one million views.

The positive coverage continued across print and online media, appearing in The Sun Online’s “32 Best Christmas Gifts for Him in 2021,” the Evening Standard’s “Best Christmas Board Games of 2021,” Marie Claire’s Hot List, Hello Online, and Female First, which published a dedicated article titled “Monopoly Offering Fans the Chance to Personalise the Iconic Game.”

At a time when the high street was still recovering from COVID-19 lockdowns, this experiential retail technology combined nostalgia with product personalisation, reminding customers of the value and excitement of in-store shopping.
