The Brief

Celebrating their 30th Anniversary, our US-based client wanted to WOW their delegates who came from all over the globe for this massive 4-day convention, held in North Carolina. The event producer looked to Noonah to provide some of our most exciting and innovative technology for audience interaction. From the moment guests arrive, the experience is full of team meetings, networking, breakout sessions, and seminars, so Noonah’s solutions were the perfect opportunity to break up the busy schedule with some fun.

The Solution

Multiple Noonah experiences were placed around the event, including a Green Screen and AR Mirror Booth (both feeding to the mosaic), Live Mosaic, and 360 Video Booth.

Our smart-placement Green Screen Booth placed the delegates with their choice of the Founders, Celebrities (including Jamie Foxx and Fat Joe), and High Profile people in the company – with 32 unique options to choose from (16 people and 2 backgrounds). Their photo really looked like they were standing next to their favourite person! These photos could be sent to the user digitally through email and were also printed as a keepsake.

The AR Mirror Booth recorded a video of the user walking down a red carpet with an AR filter attached. The custom AR filter was also available on Snapchat so people could get involved on social media too! Everyone loved pretending they were on the Cat Walk doing a fashion show or waving to their adoring fans. The videos from the Booth could be sent directly to the user to share on social media, and an image was also created from the video to feed into the Mosaic.

We also created our largest physical Photo Mosaic! There were around 2304 tiles that made up the Mosaic to create a stunning masterpiece. With photos feeding in from all the photo opportunities that we provided around the event, plus there was a built in Instagram integration that pulled photos in from the social media platform. It was completed after 2.5 days, so there were 1.5 days for the audience to admire it. Sitting around 3.2m x 1.8m, the complete Mosaic created a fantastic feature piece of art for the show!

All 4 experiences were tied in together with complementary branding, social messaging, and email formats making this a very cohesive activation.
