For the premiere of Evil Dead Rise, Warner Bros. wanted more than just a red carpet – they wanted a spine-chilling welcome that would immerse fans in the world of the film from the moment they arrived.

The brief was clear: deliver standout, social-first experiences that would entertain guests, reflect the film’s theme, and produce user generated content (UGC) worth sharing.

 

Photo Experiences Bringing Horror to Life for the UK Film Premier – Evil Dead Rise

To meet this challenge, we designed a custom photo booth experience for the film premier, blending theatrics, innovative tech, and bold brand integration.

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of Battersea Power Station, our two tailored activations – The Scream Booth and 9-Cam Bullet Time Photo Booth – delivered immersive encounters that elevated the launch night far beyond the ordinary.

These were not just photo booths for film premiers, but full-throttle audience experiences.

The Scream Booth

The Evil Dead Rise premier saw the conception of our first-ever Scream Booth – a space where guests were invited to unleash their most terrifying screams.

Inside the soundproof booth, each guest’s scream was recorded and measured using a decibel meter, with scores displayed to add a competitive edge. The result was a thrilling and interactive moment that balanced fun with fright.

Each scream was captured both digitally and as a printed Polaroid, branded with Evil Dead Rise artwork. The polaroids proved hugely popular, while the digital versions were primed for social sharing.

Bullet Time Booth

Alongside the Scream Booth, we installed our 9-Cam Bullet Time Booth, offering guests a cinematic moment of their own.

Using nine precisely positioned cameras, we captured each participant mid-movement to create a 360-degree video. The finished result was a slow-motion clip that felt like a scene pulled straight from a film trailer.

This wasn’t just another photo opportunity – it was a highly polished, personalised video experience, built for maximum shareability. The bullet time photo booth footage gave guests something they were excited to show off, effectively turning film premier attendees into champions for the Evil Dead Rise brand.
