Mailchimp's 'Email is Dead' Exhibition @ The Design Museum integrating Noonah Technology

We collaborated with Event Concept to create a fully customised interactive experience for Intuit MailChimp’s ‘Email is Dead’ campaign.

Hosted at London’s Design Museum, this immersive exhibition blended industry-leading technology, creativity, and nostalgia to examine the omnipresence of email and its ongoing impact on society.

The interactive ‘Email is Dead’ exhibition sparked conversations about the future of communication.

Email Time Capsule

Visitors stepped into the future with the ‘Email Time Capsule,’ an interactive feature that allowed guests to send messages to their future selves. By scanning a QR code, visitors accessed a web app to write emails, which they received one year later. This element captured anticipation, bridging past and future to create a unique, personalised memory.

Email Personality Quiz

Noonah’s engaging ‘Email Personality Quiz’ revealed visitors’ unique email personas through a playful interactive experience. Users answered a series of questions to discover their amusing email archetypes. From ‘a cat who walked across a keyboard’ to ‘Emailus Cromagnus’, this personality quiz leveraged data-driven algorithms and intuitive design to provide a fun, self-discovery activity to encourage guest participation.

Smart Mirror Photo Booth

Enhancing the ‘Email is Dead’ experience further, our custom integrated Smart Mirror Photo Booth transported visitors to whimsical and surreal locations. The booth instantly generated shareable digital content that guests could immediately post on social media, alongside printing ‘wish-you-were-here’ postcards. These tangible souvenirs expanded the exhibition’s impact beyond the museum, creating lasting memories.
