Cardano Summit 2022
Cardano is a proof-of-stake blockchain platform: hosts an annual Summit to bring its contributors and community members together. Working in partnership with First Event, the event uses a multitude of Noonah experiences to excite, guide and network attendees.
From Saturday, 19 to Monday, 21 November, the Summit held a main stage event in Lausanne. It also hit over 50 cities and thousands of screens worldwide. The biggest problem was bringing all the guests together, and that’s where we came in.
The event uses a multitude of Noonah experiences to excite, guide and network attendees.
Our Virtual Mosaic unites 150K users from over 50 global locations.
To unite everyone at the event, we created Virtual Mosaics for each country, which also fed into one gigantic Mosaic.
“Many Faces of Cardano” used our Virtual Mosaic 3.0 software to allow 150K users from over 50 global locations to participate in a virtual hub alongside the live event. Within this hub, there was a landing page displaying a world map. Each country where users dialled in had a button to view a Virtual Mosaic for that country.
Guests took photos via a fully Cardano-branded Virtual Photo Booth+ system. In the web app, they’d select the location they’re viewing from in a dropdown list. By submitting their photos, they would appear in a Virtual Photo Mosaic for their country, grouping everyone together from that destination and one giant Mosaic of everyone. The Virtual Photo Booth would also add a custom photo frame based on their location.
In 2 days, over 600 submissions entered the Mosaic, which was displayed live at the event in Switzerland. It was amazing to see the mosaic building photo by photo across the event period and where people were participating – from Florida to Sydney.
240+ quest registration in 2 days, and 86 users completed the Scavenger Hunt.
For attendees to make the most of the event and ensure they didn’t miss anything across the 3-day event, Cardano wanted a mobile experience to direct people around the venue and create a more immersive experience.
Live at SwissTech Convention Centre; attendees participated in our Scavenger Hunt experience nicknamed “Cardano Quest.” They explored the venue during break times to discover QR codes displayed in different areas. Every QR code checked off a new touchpoint on the digital map and required them to participate in an experience or action. For example, registration, viewing the agenda, sending a tweet, a content quiz, a Q+A submission box, taking a selfie using the branded Virtual Photo Booth, networking activity linking to the Cardano Market and many more.
Visitors were genuinely excited to hunt around, and there was a sense of achievement by completing the Scavenger Hunt. There was 240+ quest registration in 2 days, and 86 users completed it from those, which is epic considering they spent most of their days in sessions!
Queues were forming to get in front of the camera, creating a total of 90 videos that evening!
For the evening Gala Dinner and Awards, Glamdroid was the obvious choice. Our robotic camera arm creates an A-list experience perfect for an event like this, allowing attendees and award-winners to create their own video content to share on Instagram, TikTok or whatever social media platform they use. The robotic camera arm was explicitly programmed to create paparazzi-style videos including slow motion, twirls and more. It got everyone’s best angles, and guests loved this experience that much; queues were forming to get in front of the camera, creating a total of 90 videos that evening!
